The Grant PrestonNFL's out-of-market sports package, NFL Sunday Ticket, made its YouTube TV debut on Sunday afternoon, and it's already inspired divisive reactions from football fans.
The 2023-24 NFL season is the first to feature YouTube TV as the exclusive provider of Sunday Ticket. It's the package's first season away from DirecTV since its inception in 1994.
Sunday Ticket's move to YouTube TV provides a digitally accessible option to subscribers for the first time, contrasting with the previous need to have DirecTV, a satellite cable provider.

The service will run you $299 if you are a YouTube TV subscriber. If not, Sunday Ticket will be $399, which goes up to $449 after Sept. 19.
The NFL signed a seven-year, $14 billion deal with Google in December 2022 to make YouTube TV the exclusive provider of Sunday Ticket. The deal will run through the 2029-30 season.
